Capt. Robin Michael Charles Nunneley

Capt. Robin Michael Charles Nunneley, late the Scots Guards, head of the BLG family of Nunneley formerly of Park House, died in hospital at Norwich, 12 December, 2005. He was aged 94.
He was born 11 October, 1911, the only child of Charles Francis Nunneley (1883-killed in action, 26 Oct, 1914), by his wife, the former Hon. Edith Margery Mansfield (d. 1936), eldest daughter of the 3rd Baron Sandhurst; and was educated at Wellington and Clare College, Cambridge (BA 1932).
Career:-->>was JP for Stirlingshire, 1946-47; served in World War II in the Scots Guards, with the 1st Battalion in Italy; Director, Richard Smith Ltd, Glasgow, 1936-45; with Bitmac Ltd, Scunthorpe, Lincs, 1936-47; Richard Smith Trust Ltd, Glasgow, 1945-48; Coates Bros. and Co. Ltd, 1956; Director and General Manager of Coates Brothers, Inks Ltd; Director, Drubin S.A. of Copenhagen and Prisma S.A. of Bilbao; President, Society of British Printing Ink Manufacturers, 1955-56, &c.
He was married, and leaves issue, 3 children, Charles, Jennifer and Phillada.
A Service of Thanksgiving takes place at Beeston Regis Church, Saturday 7 January, 2006.
