Death of the 3rd Earl of Plymouth

_. The 3rd Earl of Plymouth died 7 March, 2018.

Other Robert Ivor Windsor-Clive, third holder of the peerage, had been a peer for almost 75 years.

He succeeded to the title - and the viscountcy of Windsor - upon the death of his father, the 2nd Earl, 1 October, 1943.

His mother, the former Lady Irene Charteris, who died in 1989, was a scion of the Earls of Wemyss & March.

Lord Plymouth married in 1950, Miss Caroline Helen Rice, who died in 2016.

The Earldom now devolves upon his son and heir Ivor, styled Viscount Windsor, who was born in 1951.
